NORML-UK : Working to reform cannabis laws

NORML UK seeks to gain recognition for the rights of people to peacefully pursue activities relating to cannabis, without unwarranted intervention by the authorities.

We are the UK branch of NORML – the world’s oldest and largest cannabis reform lobby group.

NORML UK is a non-partisan, non-profit organisation working for more research into the benefits of the uses of the cannabis plant for all purposes. We aim to provide a support network to those seeking the normalisation of cannabis consumption, and to influence a positive transformation of laws enabling responsible medical, spiritual, recreational and industrial uses in the UK.

Our five main objectives are outlined in our Cannabis Charter: Freedom, Evidence, Respect, Regulation and Medicinal cannabis. On our web site you will find information relating to medicinal and recreational cannabis.

We are seeking the reform of cannabis laws throughout the world. Hashish has been sold in coffeeshops in The Netherlands for forty years. Uruguay recently become the first country to officially legalise cannabis, and two States in the USA have also legalised, with more expected to follow suit.

If you would like to be part of the UK’s leading campaign to reform the laws, then you can join online and become a member of NORML UK.
