And the logo competition winner is….
NORML UK Women´s Alliance Logo competition attracted a high standard and a total of 14 entries, which made the task of choosing an outright winner quite difficult indeed. Two of our favourite designs came from the same artist, Andrew Tarry, who we are delighted to announce won the majority vote with the following design, which will be used on all material as the official logo of the Women´s Alliance. A big thank you to all of the designers who took the time to submit designs for the logo competition. The 4 concepts which made it through and were short listed for the group vote can be see at the bottom of this announcement.
The NUK Women´s Alliance will shortly be launching a range of branded promotional items such as T shirts, stickers, wristbands and badges, and we will also employ the Cafe Press utility on our website so that members and supporters will be able to order a wide range of items with the new logo and artwork on them. We are also working on a range of membership packages for women, with starter packs which will include a range of branded promotional items at range of prices to suit all pockets.
The new logo will appear on the UK Cannabis Quilt which can be seen at the Marc and Jodie UK tour event at Imperial College in London on Thursday 2nd October (Further information from the events section of this website) and again at the Prohibition Protest organised by the Feed the Birds campaign, and supported by NORML UK, Women´s Alliance and UK Cannabis Social Clubs. This will take place outside the BBC HQ in Portland Place, London on Saturday 4th October from 12 noon. Bring your placards and join the rest of the cannabis community hoping to make the news. Further details on the protest can be found here Prohibition Protest Event Page.
