  1. Increasingly Hollywood movies contain scenes where the heroes smoke a joint and not just Seth Rogen stoner characters either (although “knocked up” is a straight forward girls film). Many romantic comedies such as “Bad Teacher” and “Extract” portray cannabis use as part of everyday life and often show the main characters partaking without the need to show negative consequences. If it is shown as normal (especially while the audience is laughing) this goes a long way to acclimatising the general public towards cannabis use. I realise this kind of media is a little low-brow for the right on cannabis activist revolutionary type of person but it is not those people that need to be convinced to get that much sort after majority support for legalisation.
