Following on from Marc and Jodie Emery’s tour of Ireland supported by SSDP and NORML Ireland, 3 UK Dates have been announced in conjunction with NORML UK, UK Cannabis Social Clubs and SSDP, which will see them appear in London, Manchester and Glasgow, commencing in Scotland on 30th September.

Marc’s long history of activism began back in 1994 when he opened a business selling Cannabis seeds and cannabis paraphernalia in Canada, at a time when the industry was very much underground. He later founded Cannabis Culture magazine. From the start he suffered repeated raids on his business, with seeds and paraphernalia seized regularly.
In 2005, he was arrested at the request of the US DEA who charged him with Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana Seeds and Conspiracy to Engage in Money Laundering and sought his extradition. Protests and vigils soon followed across the world in his support and he was bailed pending extradition. After a lengthy legal process he was eventually jailed for 5 years in 2010.
Thankfully, he was recently released in July this year and since his release has continued to be outspoken in his support for Cannabis law reform.
To learn more about Marcs life and incarceration, and the Emery´s lives as activists come along to one of the UK tour dates for what promises to be a fascinating evening.
Beginning at 7pm on Tuesday 30th September, Marc and his wife Jodie will appear at the Corinthian Club Casino, Glasgow. The evening will also feature George Wilkins of Bud Buddies – Project storm, a documentary about Bud Buddies and their work to help those facing cancer that wish to medicate with Cannabis oil.

Wednesday the 1st October will see Marc and Jodie at the Manchester Metropolitan University from 6pm. Again, a donation of just £5 is suggested and more details can be found here Marc and Jodie Emery Tour - Manchester. Tickets must be booked through this event page due to limited numbers.
Finally, on Thursday 2nd October Marc and Jodie will arrive in London for an evening at the Imperial College from 7pm. TICKETS FOR THE LONDON EVENT HAVE SOLD OUT
