Justice for Gemma Moss

By James Collins

By now you’ve heard the entire growing buzz surrounding the unfortunate and untimely death of Gemma Moss.  She was the young mother who died in her sleep one night and who has since been launched to a status of international recognition by the alleged cause of her death.  The pathologist Dr Kudair Hussein who examined her post-mortem determined in all his infinite wisdom that Gemma died of “cannabis poisoning”.

At this point we all know that within the scope of the current accepted and peer-reviewed study on the subject that “cannabis poisoning” is no more a valid cause of death than say a lollypop overdose or fatal rainbow exposure.  It’s just simply a fantasy, were cannabis to have been involved with her death there would have to be other underlying causes which went undetected during the autopsy. That happens; lots of people go to their grave with “unknown” written in the cause section of their death certificate.  Not all puzzles will be solved.

You cannot die from a fatal overdose of cannabis.

A lollipop is more dangerous to a diabetic than cannabis.

When you think about it, lollypops are more dangerous to diabetics than cannabis is to just about anyone.  Suck on that a minute.

It’s easy to feel an impotent sense of frustration and rage when things like this happen.  We all know it’s a big pile of hooey, so what can we do about it?  Well, there is in fact an answer to that question.

Gemma Moss has been wronged by this determination of death.  She has now been smeared in the press as a woman who was taken astray and then to an early grave by the demon weed.  Her entire life has been laid bare and exposed on the front page of every tabloid rag, she’s now that woman who smoked herself to death with pot.  Her children will grow up believing that their mother threw her life away on substance abuse rather than live and raise them.  They will feel abandoned and doubtlessly have to deal with deep emotional conflicts.  Losing a parent at their tender age is very, very difficult to overcome.

They have suffered harm at the hands of the government, and this is where a quick lesson in civics comes into play.  What do you do when the state screws you over?  Who do you go to when an injustice is done by a person of authority?  You go to the Ombudsman.

The Ombudsman is the government official who deals with complaints of wrongdoing by government departments, like the NHS, who employ the pathologist that declared Gemma Moss ‘ death “cannabis poisoning” with a complete lack of evidence to back it.  Her children are too young to engage the government process and try to seek justice in order to restore their mother’s reputation in the public eye.  When the weakest amongst us has no voice it becomes the duty of all good citizens to speak on their behalf.

Today you can do a good deed for the children of the departed.

There is a website you can go to in order to make complaints.  There is an entire wing of the Ombudsman’s office dedicated to dealing with problems concerning the NHS.  They have email and phones and fax and all the modern tools of communication.  They need to hear that this woman has been smeared by an irresponsible action on the part of a government employee and that this outcome is unacceptable to you the taxpaying public.  Did you ever pay VAT on something?  Then you’re paying to keep these people around, you might as well put them to work for you.

www.ombudsman.org.uk

That is the link to the homepage of the people I am talking about (first you must complain to the Poole NHS trust before going to the Ombudsman).  This is the Customer Service department of government.  There are phone and internet contacts listed, you can even write them an old fashioned paper letter and slap a stamp on it while postal services are still a thing of the present.  While you’re on the website you can file a formal complaint right there on the page, they have a step by step process for you to go through.

One complaint isn’t going to do much.  Two would be better.  10,000 complaints will have the government wanting it to go away and at the very least putting on a display of caring.  That’s something more than nothing.  In the best case scenario a million people crash the site filing complaints and they are forced to address the cause of death and seek a reversal of the findings.  You could help restore a dead woman’s reputation and strike a blow against prohibitionist propaganda at the same time.

Please note before you complain to the Ombudsman, you must first write your grievance to the Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust; if they do not satisfactorily answer your grievance, then you can write to the Ombudsman.

The science proves Gemma Moss could not have dies from cannabis.

A post-mortem examination unscientifically found Gemma Moss died as a result of cannabis toxicity. This is impossible.

What you want to do is complain to the Ombudsman that Dr Kudair Hussein has acted against the available scientific literature in his field when making a determination of death by “cannabis poisoning” in the case of Gemma Moss.  He is on the board at the Poole Hospital, a member of the NHS and a public employee; as such he is subject to public accountability.  His findings have the potential to harm the reputation of the deceased, negatively affect the family she has left behind, and creates an unscientific precedent in the determination of death in the cases like these.  Medical professionals are bound to operate within the accepted scientific literature and this conduct strays from that standard.

It is no more appropriate than a physician claiming they can cure cancer with baking soda.  Professional standards must be adhered to in public institutions.  Remind them of this fact today.

  1. This is the biggest amount of rubbish I have ever seen. No sympathy given in this article. Its people against marijuana who use this as a way to try stop it. I read that to overdose on marijuana it would take approximately $6,000,000 dollars worth and have to smoke 18000 rolled joints every minute for 4 hours straight. It fails to mention much that this girl already had a heart problem, and she was drunk when she said it. Unfortunately, it ended badly. But that doesn’t mean people can lie to the world about how this happened. Its wrong on the unfortunate woman who lost her life, but also people who have been trying to legalize marijuana. Its SAFER than alcohol. Its more effective than paracetamol and other things like this. (almost up to 20% time!) This needs to stop. People need to be able to see that this is a load of lies and marijuana cannot kill you. Its a benefit and should be legalized. People need to join together and stop this from happening again!!!

    • Where did you read she was drunk and had a heart condition? Yet more falsehoods mixed in. Us that knew her know this is untrue

    • Why would someone go running off at the mouth with supposition and fantasy about Gemma being drunk it’s a travesty that this Girls name is being sullied due to a issue that will remain a big talking point until proven one way or the other wouldn’t it be more decent to Gemma and her family to continue the issue and leave Gemma out of it I for one think least said soonest mended and this Girls reputation is getting done no favours at all with the above article and the bandwagon that’s following it

  2. Dealing with the ombudsman can be tricky but not for the sake of awkwardness but because they have to play devil’s advocate.

Generally speaking you need to complain to the body in question, so in this instance it would be Poole Hospital and if they don’t give satisfactory response you can then take it to the ombudsman.

I could be wrong in this case but the website and complaints procedure would appear to indicate that’s the case also.

      • Simon did read it and the article was amended when he pointed this out in the comments 🙂

You can tell the NHS trust if you do not get a satisfactory response you will complain to the Ombudsman and if you ask them for the address, they are legally obliged to tell you who you should contact. – Chris.

    • You are indeed 100% correct; the article was written by a Canadian, who was understandably probably not aware of this fact. I have amended the article to point this out. I should have noticed that before publishing it, thank you for pointing this important fact out. – Chris.

  3. Mr. Ombudsman.
I am 60 years old and i smoke weed with some stops now and then since i was 16.
Every night i have a pipe pure weed and go to sleep. I feel fantastic and i am very surprised someone died from weed for the first time in history recorded as far i can remember.
Actually when you smoke weed the lungs open up for a better take on oxygen. A heart failure happens most times when there is LESS oxygen. There is a big chance she had a weak heart as well, and how about the chance she lived half hour longer than if she didn’t smoke?
I think , seen the prohibition circumstances in the UK, and noticing a harsher approach from the Dutch department of justice here while states and countries are seriously thinking about end of prohibition or fair regulations and knowing this prohibition has been a political conspiracy along with the oil wood and pharma industries. Using the most odd arguments as well.
See the magnificent properties of cannabis oil at Rick Simpsons site phoenixtears.ca. My conclusion is, Cannabis prohibition is genocide. Little children survive cancer with them oil drops.People that have been give up live longer or even cure with, at least their life quality increases immensely because of non chemo and radiation. Consider the benefits. Regular pills kill thousands , vaccines, even processed food and diets, not to mention alcohol and cigarettes.
    Thank you.

  4. Its a farce! Cannabis does not kill! The coroner that found this poor womans death was caused by cannabis should be sacked!

  5. Dear Ombudsman,

I am writing to you with regard to Dr Kudair Hussein who acted against the available scientific literature in his field when making a determination of death by “cannabis poisoning” in the case of Gemma Moss.

I am asking that the case of Gemma Moss, her unfortunate passing, and Dr Kudair Hussein’s assessment that Gemma passed away due to “Cannabis Poisoning” is fully investigated.

It is apparent to many, backed by scientific, medical literature, and public opinion, that this case has been made public through the media in an effort to create and stigmatise the use of cannabis in the public eye, creating an air of “evil” which surrounds the circumstances of Gemma’s death. In doing so, the media are tarnishing the name of an otherwise innocent woman who deserves to have a real causation of her death written down in the history books, not to be used as some pawn in public opinion war, and in doing so, giving her everlasting peace.

    Sincerely,

    Patrick Canney

  6. I think it is unfair on this poor Mother’s life to spread such vile lies revolving around her early death. She died from a heart attack which could be caused by many, many different reasons but half a joint is not one of them.

  7. To Whom It May Concern,

I’d like to make a complaint regarding the recent publication of findings released by Dr. Kudair Hussein regarding the sudden death of Gemma Moss.
I believe Dr. Hussein has acted against the available scientific literature in his field when making a determination of death by “cannabis poisoning”.
His findings have the potential to harm the reputation of the deceased, negatively affect the family she has left behind, and creates an unscientific precedent in the determination of death in the cases like these.

I dont think i need to remind you that Dr. Hussein is on the board of the Poole hospital & a member of the NHS & as such is subject to public accountability.

I like to remind of the fact medical professionals are bound to operate within the accepted scientific literature and this conduct strays from that standard.

It is no more appropriate than a physician claiming they can cure cancer with baking soda. Professional standards must be adhered to in public institutions.

    regards
    d.lynch

  8. I have taken the time to construct a complaint email for the Gemma Moss link I shared. send this to carrie.stone@poole.nhs.uk and lyn.hay@poole.nhs.uk after which if there is no consolidation send the same email to the ombudsman http://www.ombudsman.org.uk/ please share this and do it

    subject: Unscientific Determination of Death

    To whom it may concern,

My name is [YOUR NAME] and I have been affected by a determination of death by one of your board members.

Dr Kudair Hussein has acted against the available scientific literature in his field when making a determination of death by “cannabis poisoning” in the case of Gemma Moss. He is on the board at the Poole Hospital, a member of the NHS and a public employee; such as he is subject to public accountability.

Gemma Moss has been wronged by this determination of death. She has now been smeared in the press as a woman who was taken astray and then to an early grave by the demon weed. Her entire life has been laid baire and exposed on the front page of every tabloid rag, she’s now that woman who smoked herself to death with cannabis. Her children will grow up believing that their mother threw her life away on substance abuse rather than raising them. They will feel abandoned and doubtlessly have to deal with deep emotional conflicts. Losing a parent at their tender age is very, very difficult to overcome. They have suffered harm at the hands of the government through Dr Kudair Hussein.

There needs to be a public apology for the wrong that has been committed against this woman and her family. An apology stating that the determination of death was unscientific, wrong and a mistake, effectively retracting for these reasons.

    Yours Sincerely

    [YOUR NAME]

  9. First off R.I.P to this girl & my thoughts are with her family & friends. What angers me is the government can’t see that so much of the weed on the street is sprayed with chemicals & it’s not grown properly. The government will never be able to condone that alcohol is legal & tobacco is legal but weed is not when alcohol & tobacco are way more harmful. When grown properly weed is harmless but when people on the street are lacing it with all sorts of different things that’s where the danger is. Also the government give criminals a way of making money when they could tax it themselves if legalised which would take the money away from the people growing it on the street & people would know they are smoking good stuff not bad stuff that’s been played with. Not all the smoke on the street is bad but there is a lot of bad stuff & if you don’t know the good stuff from the bad it’s a dangerous game.

  10. just sent the following
    Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing to you today in regard to the recent publication of findings released by Dr. Kudair Hussein regarding the sudden death of Gemma Moss.
It is reported that Dr. Hussein has made a determination of death by “cannabis poisoning”.
I believe that his finding goes against scientific findings regarding the toxicity of cannabis.

As Dr. Hussein is on the board of the Poole hospital & a member of the NHS I feel that this finding brings the hospital into disrepute.

It is my understanding that medical professionals are bound to operate within the accepted scientific literature.

I have no personal connection with the deceased or Poole hospital but felt strongly when I read the report on the BBC News web site that this judgement, as reported is in error and should be challenged, therefore I have written to you about this today.

If the BBC and other media reports about this case are in error I would be grateful for your comments on the correct facts of the judgement.

If the reports are accurate I would respectfully request that the matter is independently reviewed.

I look forward to your reply and am resolved that should none be forthcoming I will contact the ombudsman for their views on this.

    Yours sincerely

  11. just proof that no one can ever trust the medical community any longer, that a doctor would lie about this or that a doctor would lie about any medication on anything just proves the self serving assholes that are the medical mafia. medicine is not about cures or healing or treating you allopathic medicine has been all about prestige, profit and human experiments. doctors will say anything for the prestige for authority.

  12. This article is heart breaking, In more ways than one. Firstly it’s not true, secondly the children and family of Gemma are still grieving and coming to terms with their tragic loss. Gemma was not at all how the news are portraing her, my heart goes out to her chidren and family. I hope justic is served and the truth be known to clear this young girls name

    • More correctly, she died of undetected congenital cardiomyopathy, which has claimed the lives of many, including Graham Mellor (Joe Strummer) and Tony Sly.

No, I’m NOT a doctor, but I’ve done a lot of research into so-called Sudden Adult Death Syndrome, and ALL cases appear to be cardiac-related. Congenital cardiomyopathy seems to be virtually impossible to detect with current medical technology.

Sadly, my parents BELIEVE the article (they subscribe to the Torygraph) and, therefore, because I’m stuck with them, they refuse to allow me the ONE THING that would transform my life. I’m severely autistic, and I’m sick. I can’t deal with doctors on my own, because I’m unable to talk to them (I LITERALLY can’t speak). Right now, I’m in all shades of pain, and I’m bedridden.

I CANNOT do anything to change my situation WITHOUT weed, it’s as simple as that, but they REFUSE to believe it’s illegal for the reasons we all KNOW it to be illegal.

I have spent the last few days contemplating suicide (I have a bottle of whisky and a packet of paracetamol – the paracetamol has done fuck all to touch my pain). I have ZERO quality of life; I haven’t slept in more than a week, and I have no support, no help no fucking NOTHING! THEY are the reason I’m so fucked up, that I can’t do ANYTHING to help myself.

They believe it’s illegal because it MUST be dangerous. The fact that its illegality is due to pure GREED and AVARICE is UNTHINKABLE (you don’t need to be a genius to work out how THEY vote… I’ll give you a clue – my MP is Dom Grieve, and he’s been the MP here for – I think – 20 years at least (prior to him, it was Tim Yeo).

I’ve had ENOUGH! Night after night after night with FUCK ALL KIP, a sickening pain in my back, neck, and chest.

Mother calls it being a “goody-goody”, – she CANNOT see my logic that there’s NOTHING good about adhering to a law that does NOTHING but cause harm (the only thing it DOESN’T harm, as we all know, is Big Pharma’s profits and the bonuses and salaries of those MPs who have nice, cushy sideline jobs as N-EDs, or board members at BP companies.

She has just stood there and DEFENDED Grieve – a man (and I use the word in its loosest possible sense) who is completely devoid of any scruples, morals or conscience.

I rather LIKE being alive, y’know…? They are obviously of the opposite opinion…

I can’t see any way out of this… It’s in the Torygraph, ergo it MUST be true…

  13. My condolences to this un fortunate death. Sadly it has been used by the media to spread a once in a hundred year, were did we hear that before, claim that should be pathologically investigated as it sounds implausible.

I hope that family members will also be interested to find out the real cause of death. The LCA, some years in the past, has released a warning on the contamination of weed. It was ignored by the police, health authorities and the media. Then plastics, sugar and even lead were sprayed by unscrupulous greedy oiks on to perfectly healthy bud, without consideration of the consequences, just to bring up weight. Thats when the public was at risk and when the police had ‘no control whatsoever’ and there is nothing stopping anybody to do it again, because it is an illegal market.

If we had a quality control and grading according to strenght, on the other hand, ensuring that young people are warned of the effects on their school work, exams, etc., in a decriminalised system, with a view to legalising it, than such contamination would not happen.

Once again, my heartfelt condolences to the family and relatives of this tragic death, Gemma died far too early and it is your right to find out why.

  14. This article is heart breaking, In more ways than one. Firstly it’s not truth, secondly the children and family of Gemma are still grieving and coming to terms with their tragic loss. Gemma was not at all how the news are portraying her, my heart goes out to her children and family. I hope justice is served and the truth be known to clear this young girls name.I think it is unfair on this poor Mother’s life to spread such vile lies revolving around her early death.
I knew Gemma moss back in the day at school, and i often see her around battersea and speak to her on fb, she was a fantastic mother and was a very good friend to have, her family, and friends loved her dearly, SHE DOES NOT DESERVE her name to be pressed like this she was one in a million. please clear Gemma’s name and let her rest in peace

  15. I feel for the family and friends. I do not condone smoking or taking of any drugs. Anyone that knows me will tell you how anti substance misuse I am. But that said. I could not believe the report. I was disgusted in the way this story has been smeared across all of the papers, this mothers image splashed everywhere! This is wrong. I will sign the petition.

  16. Just sent good old carrie an email of complaint.. I’m sure she’s gonna have a full inbox in the morning.

Please make sure when you send an email to make to last paragraph different to the one you copied. And also i would remove anything which “speculates”… especially about the government part. You also cannot speculate on what her cause of death is. You don’t have all the facts! And reading things in the paper certainly isn’t “fact”

All you need to do is complain that the cause of death should be investigated again. As it is scientifically incorrect.

Its wrong what that Dr has done.. She (gemma) deserves the correct cause of death to be determined. It has to be examined again by another “unbiased” health professional. Or investigated by the ombudsman.. Her name cannot go down in history this way, like everyone has said – it’s not fair on her family.

Lets keep this thing going viral.. I’ve just shared it!

  17. I knew Gemma from a baby.Watched her grow up to become a beautiful youg girl, then a loving and devoted mum to her children. It saddens me to read how the tabloids have portrayed Gemma My heart goes out to her children and family. I hope the truth comes out and Gemma’s name is cleared.

  18. My heart goes out to her family. She sounds like she was going through a difficult time.

It states she had ‘moderate to high’ levels of cannabinoids in her system, from half a spliff? How is that possible? The only way I can think of is if it was laced with synthetic cannabinoids. Why wasn’t her weed tested for a full analysis?

Also, how did she smoke it. Was it with toxic tobacco by any chance? Smoking tobacco is known to induce sudden death from cardiac arrest. Smoking increases the risk of coronary heart disease by 70%. It also increases the risk of sudden death due to coronary heart disease. “Published in the journal Circulation: Arrhythmia & Electrophysiology, the new findings show that light-to-moderate cigarette use in women is linked with an increased risk of sudden cardiac death, compared with people who don’t light up” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/12/sudden-cardiac-death-smoking-cigarettes-women_n_2279134.html

To blame the cannabis in this instance is like someone consuming soup made from bleach and parsley, and dying an hour later, yet the parsley gets the blame!

  19. i think its sad that weed smokers care more about weed getting a bad name than the fact this poor mother has died. what are the odds that one person in the whole population and history of weed smokers could die from it……….. maybe one? who knows but fuck weed lets concentrate on how her family feel and what every one could do to make things easier for them? no thats not going to happen so lets just make sure weed stays cool

    • Let me try to explain to you: The tabloid press are the ones who have made a sensation out of Gemma Moss’ life, not us. So long as the verdict “death by cannabis poisoning” remains then the Daily Mail, the Sun, and all the other toilet rolls with bogus news printed on them will pull out her likeness every time they wish to make the argument against cannabis. They will drag out the details of her life, the photos they keep publishing, and re-inflict the entire affair on the family over and over again. They aren’t about to find another case so blatantly labelled as a cannabis death, so they’ll use this at every turn.

If the pathologist is to reverse their position then this incident will no longer be news worthy and the tabloid press will let Gemma Moss and her family be in peace. That won’t happen until that verdict has changed. This will not only restore her reputation, but save the family from an endless savaging by the press whenever the subject of cannabis enters the news.

    • What’s the possibility…?! Er try ZERO! Suggest you educate yourself – there’s MORE CHANCE of you dying from a COFFEE overdose that a weed overdose. It takes just 10g of caffeine (or 200mg/kg body weight) to induce a fatal heart attack – and the same amount of paracetamol to induce fatal hepatic failure.

This has FUCK ALL to do with making weed “look cool”, as you put it; it’s about salvaging the reputation of the safest plant known to humankind, a plant which has the potential to be the panacea to just about every ill you can think of, it has FUCK ALL to do with recreational toking.

Evidently, you’re a Daily Heil reader, totally uninterested in learning the truth, but merely here to troll.

Let me enlighten you, the fatal dosage for weed is around 340,800 joints (allowing 2g per joint), all of which would have to be smoked within 30 minutes (11,360 a minute, about 189 a second) – do you smoke…?! Ever thought WHY tobacco is legal and weed isn’t…?! Because there’s MONEY in tobacco and alcohol-induced illness, can’t say that about weed. Tobacco causes an illness – many illnesses in fact – that Big Pharma can ‘cure’. There’s no money to be made from weed, so it’s illegal.

Weed is the only currently prohibited substance that is illegal NOT because it’s dangerous, but because it ISN’T!

You remind me of my parents; they believe all the BS, too. That’s why I’m suffering.

    • It’s so tragic I can’t imagine how a family could ever forget what has happened it’s sad enough that she died so young bless her why don’t people get on with there lives and leave the family to grieve in peice

  20. Ive known gemma since we was kids and she was an amazing friend and mother. And to be slandered like that by the media is disgusting. They should all be ashamed of themselves, gemma should be left to rest in peace and her family should be left to mourn her and not read all the lies about her xx

  21. Gemma was as good as faimly to me and we all loved her don’t u think by putting this in the paper just to have ur debate on weed is sickening I can’t believe this has been aloud to be published without any thought of the impact this would have on on how her faimly and friends and children would feel this is so wrong in many ways u couldn’t let me friend rest in peace for what nothing really just a load of lies but now u have slander her name and hurt her faimly I ask u now to please correct this and let the truth be out there that Gemma moss was a loving caring women very strong who brought up her children well who she loved who never put people down who’s heart was bigger then most she was a sting independent buetifful women who loved her children her friends her faimly and had consideration for others she is one in a million and always will be Gemma in my heart babe you will never be gone ur just with the rest of our angels waiting for us to come to a better place and when our time comes we will be with u again love u lots xxx

  22. Gemma was my neighbour and I saw and spoke to her every day. She was just a regular normal person, same as me, same age as well. Its scary to think someone can just go like that in their sleep but i believe it was sudden adult death sydrome. She shouldn’t be being remembered in this way, it’s such a disgrace. I have sent my email:)

  23. This is the letter I sent to Chris Bown, chief executive of the hospital. May as well go straight to the top! I feel snail mail has a bigger impact than an email but that’s just me. Doesn’t exactly take much more effort. Whilst it appears a lot of people have already sent their complaint, if you have not then I urge you to also contribute your grievances because the more they receive, the harder it is to ignore.

    Dear Mr. Bown,
I am writing in order to express my disgust and anger upon reading recent headlines concerning the “Cannabis Poisoning” of Gemma Moss. It was stated a post mortem found she had died as a direct result of Cannabis toxicity. This contradicts well accepted scientific consensus that it is almost impossible to administer a lethal amount of Cannabis. It is estimated in order to reach the LD50 one would need to consume 1,500lbs in the span of 20minutes, a physical impossibility. It is one of the least toxic known substances so it is no wonder the headlines read “first person to die” because it is quite simply a lie. There has not been one single recorded case of death as a direct result of Cannabis alone in its 5,000 year history of Human consumption.

Admittedly, tabloids spin the truth or blatantly fabricate details to fit their agenda and garner sales or page views. Also, I am not fully aware of the facts as I am solely going off what has been reported in the media. However, I am deeply concerned by the verdict reached by Poole Hospital’s Dr Kudair Hussein that she had died as a direct result of the effects of Cannabis. Because no abnormalities were found but Cannabinoids were present in her blood an assumption was made and an erroneous conclusion was reached. Correlation does not imply causation and the findings of Dr. Hussein is not sound science.

I am hereby suggesting misconduct on behalf of the Dr. or at the very least either ignorance or misunderstanding of the available studies and scientific consensus from medical experts from all across the World concerning Cannabis. I therefore respectfully request further investigation into the matter. Perhaps an internal enquiry, another inquest or a public examination. I’m unaware of the relationship between the trust and the coroner but releasing the coroner’s report or the transcript of the original inquest would also be helpful so we may gain a better understanding of the event beyond media reports. Regardless, further scrutiny is required.

I wish to hear your thoughts on the matter and how we may resolve this problem. The whole thing is disingenuous and quite frankly disrespectful to Gemma in that it is now recorded as “death by drugs abuse” and sullies her memory. She and her family deserve better. It also furthers to promote already prevailing misinformation. All findings should be based on empirical evidence and sound scientific methods. I feel this has not been the case.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this letter and I look forward to a response.

  25. Hi all,

I received a reply to my message to NHS Poole and they said Dr. Kudair Hussein is not part of the trust, and is instead employed by the city’s coroner’s office at coroner@bournemouth.gov.uk.

I have forwarded my email onto them, I suggest a post is made letting people know to send their email there instead?

  26. I have no idea whether cannabis can poison you. But I know it can induce a heart attack because that is what happened to me, six weeks ago,on Boxing Day.

I am not a regular user, however I had three drags from a skunk joint at around 11pm that evening

I began to feel very giddy almost immediately and was violently sick for the next six houres, retching uncontrollably until I thought my lungs would end up in the bathroom sink.
I was having a massive heart attack. I spent two weeks in hospital, have been prescribed enough drugs to open my own pharmacy, and will be on some of them for the rest of my life.
My cardiologist is in no doubt that the cannabis triggered the heart attack, and has speculated – although of course we don’t know – that it may have been cut with amphetamine or something similar.
I do not have an anti-drugs agenda – in fact I believe all drugs should be legalised, as the current arrangement means supply is controlled by organised crime. However anyone who doubts that cannabis can trigger a heart attack and/or lead to death, is, profoundly ignorant.
