I believe Northern ireland would be a good place to break the cycle of cannabis prohibition there are a few reasons for this

3. Its still part of the uk so it will be an excellent presadent

4. Politicians here are more likely to legalise for medicinal uses
1. Devolved government gives us a different political landscape which even the health minister has the powers to legalise for medical purposes
2. There is a smaller population compared to other parts of the uk which would make advertising and educating people about the truth much less costly.

3.

I totaly agree , NI will be a great place to start legalisation process in UK both for medical and recreational use . Cannabis is not a drug such as Alchohol and other even worse man made substances , its a plan that god gave us to feel happier in our planet.

I agree too, but judge didn't want to hear the argument… http://www.u.tv/news/Cannabis-…..037fa062e0 Very frustrating experience representing myself in the high court. Have been advised that launching a public interest litigation suit is best way to get the argument heard. This would qualify for pro bono legal aid. It means forming a group to challenge N.I. health minister's opinion that cannabis should remain in schedule 1. I started a petition on http://www.change.org and posted 3 videos on youtube

Am convinced the argument is good, it uses the basic Drug Equality Alliance at http://www.drugequality.org + human rights protection in N.I.Act 1998 + legal duties of DHSSPS as per s2 and s13 of the Health and Social Care (Reform) Act (Northern Ireland) 2009. If anyone in N.I. is interested in taking this forward as a group find/search for me in google+
